Anthony Rechner, the Chairman of this company has been found guilty in the District Court of Western Australia on four charges that were laid following an investigation by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) - the charges relate to a number of false and misleading statements made by Mr Rechner in respect of Eagle Bay’s ‘Myall Creek Gold Project’ - the jury found Mr Rechner guilty of four charges of making materially misleading statements or statements that he ought reasonably to have known were materially misleading at the time they were made - the matter has been adjourned for sentencing on 27 September 2007
