the company's decision to delist is as a result of the low level of Chess Depositary Interests (CDIs)
representing IAMGOLD common shares now quoted on the ASX compared to IAMGOLD's current
issued share capital and the low level of trading on the ASX compared to the TSX and the NYSE - in
these circumstances, IAMGOLD has formed the view that the administrative time and costs which
IAMGOLD incurs in maintaining its ASX listing are no longer justifiable

a share sale facility has been established by IAMGOLD to enable shareholders to sell their IAMGOLD
shares (represented by CDIs) during the 3 months commencing on the date that IAMGOLD's
removal from the official list of the ASX takes effect; and
the arrangements which IAMGOLD has put in place to assist shareholders to change the register on which
their shares are held (as CDIs) by transferring those shares to IAMGOLD's Canadian register -
IAMGOLD will pay the transfer costs on behalf of CDI holders who take up this option
