For some nine months, the two companies have been in discussions based on completion of the equity transaction generally in accordance with the term sheet. A conditional offer whereby Sibanye proposes to acquire the assets of the Waterberg Coal Project was submitted and it required the Wategroup Group to formally accept the offer approximately 24 hours after receipt of the offer.
