we understand that Macquarie Media Group acquired all of the shares in Southern Cross Broadcasting that it did not already own - holders of fully paid shares in Southern Cross Broadcasting received $17.41 per share, comprising a cash payment of $17.05 per share and a Special Dividend of $0.36 per share and Option Holders received a cash payment of $17.05 cash per Option less the exercise price (if any) of that Option


Fairfax Media Limited [ASX:FXJ] has successfully completed its acquisition of the former Southern Cross Broadcasting Limited's radio business (including metropolitan radio stations 2UE in Sydney, 3AW and Magic 1278 in Melbourne, 4BC and 4BH in Brisbane, and 6PR and 96 FM in Perth) and the Southern Star television production and distribution business, Satellite Music Australia and other associated businesses from Macquarie Media Group


Southern Cross Broadcasting has today despatched the Share Scheme Payment to those persons who were shareholders as at the Share Scheme Record Date and on 27 October 2007, despatched the Option Scheme Payment to those persons who were Option Holders as at the Option Scheme Record Date
